Out-of-bounds reads in Fuji Electric TELLUS Simulator 4.0.17.0 and earlier allow attackers to execute code through crafted X1 or V9 files. The X1 and V9 file parser reads beyond allocated memory when processing malformed file data, but the vendor has not identified the affected function or field. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, and resulting memory disclosure or code execution occurs in that user's context.
