Password-hash disclosure via system group misconfiguration
Published Dec 13, 2023 · Updated Aug 28, 2024
Improper access control in Relyum RELY-PCIe Firmware 22.2.1 allows remote attackers to read the operating system password-hash file. A system group is misconfigured so that its members receive read access to the central password-hash file despite the file's sensitivity. Network access without authentication is sufficient; integrity and service availability are not affected.
