Information disclosure via unsigned SMB traffic
Published Dec 13, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Weak SMB configuration in Relyum RELY-PCIe 22.2.1 and RELY-REC 23.1.0 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to disclose data. The devices disable SMB signing, preventing verification of message origin and integrity and enabling interception of traffic in transit. Exploitation requires access to the SMB network path; the published impact is limited to information disclosure.
