Cross-Site Request Forgery in Stark Digital Category Post List Widget through 2.0 allows remote attackers to inject stored XSS via forged requests. The get_cplw_settings function lacks effective nonce validation and accepts attacker-controlled settings, including custom_css, that are later rendered in administrator pages. Exploitation requires tricking an administrator into following a crafted request; resulting script execution can alter page content and access browser-visible data within the affected WordPress context.
