Path traversal in GL.iNet GL-AX1800 firmware 4.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through the upload API. The upload endpoint accepts an attacker-controlled destination path and writes supplied content outside the intended upload directory. Access to valid credentials is required; overwriting authentication files or adding an SSH key grants control of the router.
