Authenticated code execution via gridName SQL injection
Published Jan 16, 2024 · Updated Jun 3, 2025
SQL injection in Knovos Discovery 22.67.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through getGridColumnStructure. The service processes the JSON gridName value as SQL syntax, as demonstrated by a single-quote-delimited WAITFOR DELAY payload sent to the endpoint. An authorized product account and network access to the service are required; successful exploitation exposes stored data and enables code execution.
