Authenticated database read and modification via unneutralized uid
Published Sep 3, 2023 · Updated Oct 1, 2024
SQL injection in IBOS 4.5.5 allows remote authenticated users to read and modify database records through the user-export route. The handler passes the uid request value through exportUser() and fetchAllByUids() to wrapUserInfo(), where it reaches an SQL statement without adequate neutralization. A valid low-privileged session is required; successful exploitation exposes or alters application data and can interrupt database-backed functions.
