Silverpeas Core 6.3.1 and earlier contain incorrect authorization that lets remote authenticated users put the application into Maintenance Mode. The maintenance-mode function accepts a low-privilege request without enforcing its administrator-only authorization check, changing global application availability. Any authenticated account that can reach the function can interrupt service for all users, with no confidentiality impact reported.
