Unauthorized sensitive API access via missing authorization
Published Nov 22, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Incorrect access control in Headwind MDM Web panel 5.22.1 allows remote authenticated users to access sensitive API calls. The panel fails to enforce authorization for API operations that list users and data and provide file-management and audit functions. A low-privileged account is required, and exposed calls permit limited reading or modification of managed data without service interruption.
