CVE-2023-47310Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated UDP reconnaissance via source-port firewall rule

Published Jun 30, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026

Firewall misconfiguration in MikroTik RouterOS 7 before 7.14 allows remote attackers to conduct UDP service reconnaissance via IPv6. The default IPv6 input rule matches UDP source ports 33434–33534 instead of destination ports, so an attacker-selected source port bypasses later filtering. No authentication is required; the bypass exposes enabled UDP services such as DNS, CAPsMAN, and containers to external reconnaissance.
