Privilege escalation in TheGreenBow Windows VPN Client 6.52 and 6.87 allows local users to execute code as SYSTEM. The client trusts crafted changes to a memory-mapped file, allowing malware to make the privileged client write or delete a registry key. Execution of malware under a local user context is required, and successful exploitation grants SYSTEM-level code execution on Windows.
