Stored XSS via unsanitized DAG parameter descriptions
Published Dec 21, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Stored XSS in Apache Airflow 2.6.0 through 2.7.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript when another user views DAG task details. The trigger UI renders a DAG author's raw parameter-description HTML without neutralizing embedded JavaScript. DAG-author privileges and victim interaction are required; execution remains in the browser sandbox and cannot add server-side access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
