Stored XSS via unsanitized administrator settings
Published Nov 22, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Ultimate Dashboard 3.7.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through administrator settings. The plugin persists admin-setting values without sufficient input sanitization and renders them without sufficient output escaping. Administrator privileges are required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled; stored scripts execute when a user opens an injected page.
