Code injection in ConnectWise ScreenConnect through 23.8.4 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to execute code via crafted messages. ConnectWise has not disclosed the message type, processing component, or unsafe operation that converts crafted traffic into executable code. Exploitation requires control of traffic between a ScreenConnect client and its server, and successful execution permits complete system compromise.
