Firmware data tampering via unchecked SMI size

Out-of-bounds write in InsydeH2O PnpSmm kernels 5.0 through 5.6 allows physically proximate attackers to overwrite firmware data. PNP-related SMI sub-functions read attacker-controlled sizes from the SMM communication buffer without validation, causing a fixed value to overwrite data immediately past the command buffer. Exploitation requires physical access and high privileges; the vendor reports integrity impact without disclosure or service interruption.
