CVE-2023-47246Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via accountId path traversal

Published Nov 10, 2023 · Updated Jul 31, 2026

Path traversal in SysAid On-Premises before 23.3.36 allows remote attackers to execute code by writing a file into the Tomcat webroot. The /userentry endpoint accepts traversal sequences in the accountId parameter, allowing an upload path to escape into Tomcat's deployed-webapp directory. No user interaction is required; a written WAR archive can deploy a web shell and grant control of the server.
