CVE-2023-47213Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Configuration disclosure and modification via hard-coded password

Published Nov 16, 2023 · Updated Oct 21, 2024

Hard-coded credentials in First Corporation DVR firmware allow remote attackers to read or rewrite device configuration over the network. The firmware authentication logic accepts a password embedded in the device software, granting access to network-facing configuration functions. Internet exposure makes the flaw reachable without user interaction; the vendor reports botnet abuse, bandwidth exhaustion, slow operation, and unsolicited reboots.
