SYSTEM code execution via junction-based arbitrary file creation

Link-following in Trend Micro Apex One before 14.0.0.12526 and Apex One as a Service before 14.0.12737 allows local users to gain SYSTEM. The NT RealTime Scan service follows an attacker-created junction and creates files at the redirected location without safely resolving the link target. Execution of low-privileged code on the endpoint is required; arbitrary file creation through the privileged service enables arbitrary code execution as SYSTEM.
