Stored browser script execution via unsanitized admin settings
Published Nov 8, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Northern Beaches Websites IdeaPush 8.52 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a visitor's browser. The administrative settings path stores inadequately sanitized input and later renders it without adequate output escaping; public records do not name the field or function. Administrator-level access is required to store the payload, and another user's visit is required to trigger browser-side execution in the site's origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
