Authenticated denial of service via crafted archive upload
Published Dec 19, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Improper input validation in IBM DevOps Deploy allows remote authenticated users to exhaust server resources via an archive upload. The archive-upload path inadequately validates an archive before processing it, permitting crafted input to consume excessive server resources; IBM has not disclosed the responsible parser or validation check. An authenticated upload path is required, and affected releases are 7.0 through 7.0.5.18, 7.1 through 7.1.2.14, 7.2 through 7.2.3.7, and 7.3 through 7.3.2.2.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=7.1 <=7.1.2.14
