Denial of service in IBM Db2 10.5, 11.1, and 11.5 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt the database server via a crafted query. IBM has not disclosed the query form, affected parser or execution locus, or the operation that mishandles the query. Successful exploitation requires CONNECT privileges and affects availability only; IBM has not specified whether the interruption is a hang or crash.
