Uncontrolled resource consumption in IBM Common Cryptographic Architecture 7.0.0 through 7.5.36 allows remote attackers to interrupt service. The CSNBSAD and CSNBSAE service calls mishandle certain AES operations when their access-control points are enabled. The calls require no authentication or user interaction, but IBM has not disclosed whether the resulting interruption is a hang, crash, or another failure mode.
