Code execution via malformed JP2 file parsing

Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Illustrator 2024 28.0 and earlier and 2023 27.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via a JP2 file. The JP2 parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading beyond the end of an allocated buffer. A victim must visit a malicious page or open the crafted file, after which code runs in the Illustrator process with the current user's privileges.
