Code execution via improper MP4 input validation
Published Nov 16, 2023 · Updated Sep 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in MP4 parsing in Adobe Premiere Pro 24.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted file. The MP4 parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading it, allowing a read past the end of an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires a victim to open the malicious file or visit content that causes it to open, after which code runs in the current process context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
