Code execution via unvalidated M4A object access
Published Nov 16, 2023 · Updated Sep 4, 2024
Use-after-free in Adobe Premiere Pro 24.0 and earlier and 23.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via malicious M4A files. The M4A parser operates on an object without first validating that the object still exists, producing a use-after-free condition. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted file, and resulting code runs in the context of the current user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
