Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Audition 24.0 and earlier and 23.6.1 and earlier allows attackers to execute code through a crafted M4A file. The M4A parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading it, permitting a read beyond the end of an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file or visit a malicious page, and resulting code runs in the current process context.
