Code execution via uninitialized MP4 parser pointer
Published Nov 16, 2023 · Updated Nov 25, 2024
Uninitialized-pointer access in Adobe Audition 24.0 and earlier and 23.6.1 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious MP4 file. The MP4 parser accesses memory through a pointer whose storage was not properly initialized before use. Execution occurs in the current user's context after the user opens the file or visits a page that supplies it.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
