Code execution via MP4 out-of-bounds read
Published Nov 16, 2023 · Updated Sep 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Media Encoder 24.0.2 and earlier and 23.6 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a crafted file. The MP4 parser reads beyond the end of an allocated memory structure while processing malformed file data. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, after which code runs in the context of the current user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
