Unauthorized token transfers via unchecked trading status
Published Jan 19, 2024 · Updated May 30, 2025
Improper access control in the Reptilian Coin smart contract allows remote attackers to transfer tokens while trading is disabled. Its _transfer function updates sender and recipient balances without checking the tradingOpen flag or the configured holding limits. Any caller able to invoke a public transfer path can bypass the contract's intended trading lock and alter token balances through an otherwise valid transfer.
