Missing authentication in Mitsubishi Electric FA protocol handling allows remote attackers to execute commands with crafted packets. The proprietary-protocol command handler accepts privileged read, write, memory-reset, and device-reset requests without authenticating the sender. Network reachability is sufficient; commands can expose or alter control programs, restore factory defaults, or remotely reset a controller.
