Authenticated code execution via IP-setting injection
Published Dec 28, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Code injection in SeaCMS 12.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through the backend IP security settings. The /augap/adminip.php handler accepts PHP syntax in the IP-setting input and persists it so subsequent requests evaluate the injected code. Access to the administrative backend is required; successful exploitation installs a PHP web shell with command execution under the web server account.
