Published Nov 3, 2023 · Updated Sep 6, 2024
Incorrect access control in Best Courier Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to take over accounts through the user update form. The form accepts an attacker-supplied userID and changes the selected account's username and password without verifying authorization for that account. Remote attackers need only obtain the target user ID through the password-reset feature to replace its credentials and assume control of the account.
