Remote code execution via unsanitized user ID
Published Nov 30, 2023 · Updated Oct 15, 2024
SQL injection in oretnom23 Packers and Movers Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted id requests. The /mpms/admin/?page=user/manage_user&id endpoint inserts the id parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling UNION-based payloads. Administrative authentication is required, and successful exploitation can read or alter database content and interrupt the service through executed code.
