Hard-coded credentials in EverShop before 1.0.0-rc.8 allow remote attackers to forge JWTs and gain unauthorized application access. The token-generation path signs JWTs with the constant HMAC secret "secret," making valid tokens predictable to anyone who knows the package default. No authentication or user interaction is required; forged tokens expose protected information and actions, with no reported availability impact.
