Stored script execution via unsanitized admin form
Published Nov 21, 2023 · Updated Aug 10, 2024
Stored XSS in EyouCMS 1.6.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another logged-in user's browser through an admin form. The administrative form automatically saves a crafted field value and renders it into the page without neutralizing executable markup. Administrative access is required to plant the payload, and script runs when a logged-in user refreshes the affected page, exposing that browser's sensitive data.
