Browser script execution via unsanitized report title
Published Nov 2, 2023 · Updated Sep 5, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Reportico 7.1.21 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The admin module stores a report title without neutralizing HTML or JavaScript and renders the saved value as executable page content. Administrative access is required to plant the payload, and another user must view the affected page; execution remains limited to that user's browser context.
