Unauthenticated Solr query execution
Published Nov 7, 2023 · Updated Sep 4, 2024
Missing authentication in Apache OFBiz before 18.12.09 allows remote attackers to execute Solr plugin queries without credentials. The public advisory and linked fix identify the Solr plugin, but Apache has not published which request handler omitted the authentication check. The Solr plugin must be installed and network-reachable; successful requests execute its queries without an authenticated session.
