Administrator code execution via unsanitized language records
Published Oct 27, 2023 · Updated Oct 11, 2024
PHP code injection in ISPConfig 3.2.11 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through the language editor. The /admin/language_edit.php endpoint inserts unsanitized records POST data into dynamically generated PHP code that the application executes. Exploitation requires the built-in superadmin account or its active session and an enabled admin_allow_langedit setting; other account types are unaffected.
