Service interruption via kernel driver out-of-bounds write
Published Nov 8, 2023 · Updated Sep 4, 2024
Kernel-driver out-of-bounds write in Huawei HarmonyOS 3.0.0, 3.1.0, and 4.0.0 and EMUI 13.0.0 allows remote attackers to trigger process exceptions. Huawei has not disclosed the affected driver, the attacker-controlled input, or the bounds-checking error that permits the write. The reported consequence is limited to process exceptions that interrupt availability; arbitrary code execution is not reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
