Cross-site scripting via unescaped CodeExtension filters

Cross-site scripting in Symfony Twig Bridge before 4.4.51, 5.4.31, or 6.3.8 allows remote attackers to execute browser scripts. CodeExtension marks abbr_class, abbr_method, format_args, and file_excerpt filter output as safe HTML while emitting unescaped input into HTML markup. Exposure requires the development-only CodeExtension to be enabled explicitly in production and a user to render attacker-controlled output.
