Authenticated IP spoofing via shared dial-up interface

Origin validation error in Fortinet FortiOS and FortiProxy IPsec VPN allows remote authenticated users to spoof another VPN user's IP. With net-device disabled, the shared dial-up tunnel interface accepts crafted outbound packets whose source address belongs to another dynamically addressed user. The default setting exposes hubs with multiple dial-up spokes; replies still go to the legitimate address owner, limiting the flaw to packet transmission.
