Root command execution via forced-calibration filename injection

Command injection in Emerson Rosemount 370XA, 700XA, and 1500XA Gas Chromatographs through 4.1.5 allows remote attackers to execute commands as root. The forced-calibration handler passes an attacker-controlled archived-file name into a gunzip shell command through system() without sanitizing shell metacharacters. Network access to the proprietary service on port 10000 is sufficient; no authentication or user interaction is required, and injected commands run with full root privileges.
