Arbitrary code execution via configuration object deserialization

Unsafe deserialization in Elastic Elasticsearch for Apache Hadoop allows local users to execute code through crafted Hadoop or Spark properties. The connector's configuration-property processing deserializes Java objects from Hadoop or Spark properties without ensuring that authenticated modifiers supplied trusted data. High-privileged authenticated access that can alter those properties is required; successful exploitation runs attacker-chosen code in the job's JVM.
