Remote code execution via unvalidated signature upload
Published Oct 16, 2023 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in 10Web Form Maker before 1.15.20 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted signature field. In the type_signature branch of save_db(), the plugin writes user-supplied signature content without validating the resulting file type. No authentication is required, and impact reaches code execution when the web server processes the uploaded dangerous file.
