CVE-2023-46651Network attack vector

Credential exposure via contextless credentials lookup

Published Oct 25, 2023 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Credential exposure in Jenkins Warnings Plugin 10.5.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to capture system-scoped credentials. AxivionSuite.withValidCredentials passes a null Item context to CredentialsProvider.lookupCredentials, so job configuration can select credentials reserved for global configuration. Item/Configure permission is required, and captured usernames and passwords can expose systems reachable with those credentials.
