Race condition in GitHub Enterprise Server 3.7.0 through 3.11.0 allows local users to obtain administrator access during account conversion. GitHub has not disclosed the code-level locus or the conflicting operations that make user-to-organization conversion racy. Exploitation requires high privileges, user interaction, and winning a high-complexity local race while a user account is converted into an organization.
