Unauthenticated survey code modification via unchecked save request
Published Jan 2, 2025 · Updated Apr 29, 2026
Missing authorization in FeedFocal 1.2.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter the saved survey code through a crafted request. The feedfocal_api_setup REST function updates the feedfocal_survey_code option without checking the WordPress manage_options capability. No account or user interaction is required; successful exploitation changes code that the plugin places on public site pages, enabling unauthorized content changes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
