XXE injection in Siemens OPC UA Modelling Editor before 2.8 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary local files through crafted XML. The XML-processing path resolves attacker-supplied external entity declarations; Siemens does not disclose the parser or function involved. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported consequence is file disclosure without data modification or service interruption.
