Code execution via out-of-bounds TIF parsing write

Buffer overflow in TIF parsing in XnView Classic 2.51.5 allows local users to execute arbitrary code through a crafted image file. Opening the file triggers a user-mode write access violation at xnview+0x35d52d because the parser writes beyond the intended memory boundary. Exploitation requires the crafted TIF file to be opened, after which the process can crash or attacker-supplied code can run in the user context.
