Stored script execution via unsanitized State field
Published Oct 25, 2023 · Updated Sep 10, 2024
Stored XSS in PHPGurukul Nipah Virus Testing Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to inject scripts through the State field. The unauthenticated new-user-testing.php endpoint stores the State value without sanitization, and live-test-updates.php later renders it in a browser. Submission requires no account, but execution occurs when a user opens the affected dashboard, exposing that browser session to attacker-controlled actions.
